prinskorv recipe, Swedish christmas sausage

Prinskorv recipe, small sausages eaten at christmas at the traditional Swedish julbord, or christmas table.

Serves four:

about 4-5 Prinskorvar or any small kind of sausage
Butter for frying

1. Firstly, cut through the end on both sides of the sausage, turn the sausage around and to the same thing again to form a cross on both ends. Repeat with all of the remaining sausages.

2. Fry the sausages crisp in butter, the cross will now evolve into a crunchy little flower, serve at christmas table or for instance with stuvade makaroner or mashed potatoes.
