Flask med loksas, salty fried pork with onion gravy

Flask med loksas recipe, swedish classic containing salty fried pork,
onion gravy and most often potatoes.

Serves four:

500 grams (1.1 pounds) Salted Pork or if absolutely necessary, bacon
3 dl (1.2 cups) Cream, single or double
1 Onion
2 tbs Butter
1 tbs Wheat Flour

Salt & Pepper

1. Heat the butter in a pan, when bubbly, add the pork and fry it nice and golden, season with pepper.

2. Peel and finely chop the onion, fry until soft in a pan. Add cream, then sprinkle over the flour, a small amount at a time so all lumps disolves. Stir the gravy until smooth.
Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.

3. Serve the fried salty pork with the onion gravy and boiled potatoes, maybe with some fresh chopped parsley on top.
